The Colet Fellowship offers recent US graduates the opportunity to work with the US Universities Department as well as with an academic department for one school year.
Colet Fellows select their own academic department affiliation based on their undergraduate experience and teach classes. Outside of the classroom, Colet Fellows with music, sports, debating or other extra-curricular skills or interests assist with student clubs and activities.
In the US Universities Department, Colet Fellows have particular responsibility for helping students craft application essays. Â In addition, they serve as a general resource for students on college life in the US. Colet Fellows give occasional presentations to students and families and participate in annual department events.
The Colet Fellowship Year runs from the end of August to the end of June or early July. The school provides documentation for the relevant visa. Â Colet Fellows are provided with housing and meals during term time. As employees of the school, Colet Fellows are eligible for free healthcare under the National Health Service.
