In this year’s Bebras Computing Thinking Challenge, St Paul’s students excelled across both age groups.
In the Inters (Fourth Form):
- 15 students scored full marks, with Issam Abou Zaki, Samuele Bertolo, Stanley Bocquet, Thibault Borms, Mariano Bruni, Nicholas Glaus, Florian Jhamna, Winston Lai, Sehwan Lim, Zak Mayer, Aengus McBrinn, Matthew Neo, Henry Raine, Charles Tang, and Olly Zage ranking among the top 849 nationwide, out of over 240,000 entrants.
- A further 16 students dropped marks on only one question.
- 167 students placed in the top quartile, and 187 exceeded the national median out of 191 participants.
In the Senior (Fifth and Sixth Form):
- Two students, Oscar Bichler and Jason Huang, scored full marks, ranking among the top 106 nationwide from over 40,000 entrants.
- Â Four additional students dropped marks on just one question.
- 85 students ranked in the top quartile, and 107 surpassed the national median out of 114 participants.
