Local Charity Support

We are delighted that is our charity partner for 2023-2025. Alongside our work with this charity, we continue to support and work with St Paul’s School in supporting (formerly West London Zone), and .

At St Paul’s Juniors, pupils are actively encouraged to give of themselves as well as contributing financially, targeting the charity of the year. We raise money through Own Clothes days, charity fetes, the Christmas Fayre and other initiatives such as the 3×3 challenge.

The Challenge invites pupils across all year groups to make money over the three-week Easter Remedy using an initial investment of just £3.00. Creativity, innovation and hard work prevail. This year, participants planted trees in Kenya, sold homemade cakes in the local park, washed cars in the neighbourhood and designed products to sell online. 200 pupils took part and together raised over £12,000 in 2024 for Castelnau Community Centre. In addition to fundraising initiatives, we have initiated a number of volunteering opportunities with Castelnau Community Centre, most notably at the Centre’s annual Christmas Lunch, and a family volunteering day this spring to paint the main hall. Keep a look out for more such opportunities in the future!

Although we support our official charity partner throughout the academic year, we wholeheartedly encourage smaller, independent projects which individual pupils, form groups or staff members organise on an ad-hoc basis. Such initiatives usually reflect a variety of local and global needs and are often linked to an individual pupil who has benefited from, or feels a close attachment to, a certain charity. For example, an Upper Third pupil has organised a pen drive for a global educational charity, and our Music department is hosting a piano-thon for a local music charity.
